I am a dentist here at Red Deer Dental, and I love my job! I enjoy getting to meet all kinds of people, and assisting them in achieving healthy, beautiful smiles. I was born in Manitoba, but grew up in Alberta – I went to junior high and high school in Red Deer, and then did all of my post secondary education in Edmonton.
I have been a dentist since graduating from the University in Saskatchewan in Saskatoon in 1999. Working at Bahrey Dental is something that I am very grateful for; all of our staff have a high level of integrity, both personally and in the workplace. I am also thankful for my wonderful family- my husband and best friend Rob, stepdaughter Ava, and our 3 dogs.
Dr. Kia Shahtaheri grew up in Vancouver where he attended the University of British Columbia and received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology. After spending some time in research, he decided to return to UBC and graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry.
I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 14 years. I grew up in British Columbia taking my education at Camosun College in Victoria. I moved to Red Deer 9 years ago. I have 2 boys and our dogs Coco and Mimi. We enjoy the numerous parks and trails that Red Deer has to offer. In my spare time, I like to fix up and paint old furniture. I truly enjoy coming to work, there are always a lot of laughs and everybody feels like family. I am delighted to get to know clients and help them with their oral health in a friendly caring office.
I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 14 years all of which I have lived in Red Deer. I enjoy all things automotive; car shows, restoration, racing, and memorabilia. Red Deer Dental is a fun place to work. The atmosphere is relaxed and well suited for the whole family! Assisting our clients to achieve their desired dental health is my pleasure. Its great seeing long-time clients back for their regular visits and equally as exciting to meet new folks.
I have been a dental administrator for 20 years. I have lived in good ole’ Red Deer for 30+ years, I enjoy decorating, scrapbooking, and travel, but most of all my family. Working at Red Deer Dental is a genuine pleasure due to the sincere desire of the staff to care for and educate our clients. Our atmosphere is very casual.
I have been working at Red Deer dental since 2012 and first started in the dental industry in 1984 upon graduating from the Level 2 Dental Assisting program at Wascana Dental College. I live in Eckville with my husband and we have two daughters and a dog. My hobbies include: sewing, machine embroidery, crocheting and anything crafty. I love the mountains and take any chance I can to visit them!
I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2013. I was born and raised in Kindersley Saskatchewan and moved to Alberta shortly after graduating high school. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, playing sports, hiking and walking my boy Blue! At a young age I knew I wanted to work in the Dental field. I loved the thought of helping people smile again! Working at Red Deer Dental is super enjoyable. The atmosphere here is always very relaxed and welcoming!
I’ve spent 26 years as a dental assistant working in the central Alberta area. I live in Delburne with my husband and two boys. I enjoy running them to hockey and rodeos. Dental assisting offers me a nice change from life on the farm. Visiting with clients while helping to make their visit a positive one remains rewarding even after all these years! Working directly with the doctors is always interesting.
My name is Braenne Stewart and I have been a registered dental assistant since graduating from KDM dental college in 2010. I keep very busy as a wife and mother of 2 young daughters. We enjoy sports of all kinds and keep active in the summer by bike riding and walking our dog Oreo. In the winter we can usually be found at the ski hill. I thoroughly enjoy the dental world and all the excitement and challenges that come with it. Meeting and getting to know our clients is amazing and makes my job a pleasure to come to work.
Dr. Parekh graduated with a Bachelor of Science and majored in Mathematics and Physical Chemistry with a minor in Astronomy from the University of Toronto. He later graduated with Honors from the University of Western Faculty of Dentistry in 1996.
Dr. Parekh lives by the business philosophy of dentistry prevention. He is renowned for his exceptional chair side manner and loves to impart his wisdom in educating his patients on the best oral care for them. Even children love coming to see him! He is an expert in many dentistry fields, has extensive training, and continues to educate himself in all the new technologies and dental advancements. Dr. Parekh not only wants to see you have a great smile but also wants to make a difference in the lives of every patient he sees.
Dr. Danielle Whitfield completed both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Alberta. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking and spending time with her husband and their mini aussiedoodle named Furgus. She is passionate about patient care and strives to make every dental visit a comfortable and positive experience for her patients.
